Just for You

Well I decided to post this my second card I managed to complete tonight and it is for this weeks Victoria Case Stamp Challenge the theme being to use Lilac, Chocolate and Ivory colour combo. The image I adore and is from Victoria Case Digi Stamps I have coloured him with promarkers, the backing paper is some I found in my stash the chocolate brown strips are SU I have stamped a sentiment 'Just for You' on the side and the flowers and leaves are real. They are pressed daisy's and leaves from Joanna Sheen and is the very first time I have used them. I hope you like it hugs to all.

Time To Enjoy

Hello all afraid I haven't been doing much these last couple of days as my mum is still here so I am restricting my craft time. Some of you have been asking if my mum is a crafter but unfortunately no she isn't but she adores my work. Her eyesight is failing but she still does her knitting she has been into that all her life so she doesn't even have to look I have always been in awe of how good she is. When we were little she kitted our cardigans and jumpers and anything else we needed there are seven of us so it kept her busy. She always knitted them with images on I think my favourite was a lovely white thick cardy with a collar and she had knitted red flowers scattered about as the pattern and they were big red flowers not little wee ones. She has also knitted dolls dresses oh boy the lists go on and most of them she has donated to charity.

Anyway onto this card the stamp is called 'Diggin Albert' and is the prize I won from The Crafty Pad challenge and I thought straight away that it would fit the new challenge over at Die Cut Dreams the theme being 'Green Fingers' also I will be entering into Card Inspirations which is the sketch. I coloured Albert with promarkers and used a selection of Bearlymine and SU papers and Fred She Said flowers. Hope you like it, I have managed to do one more but not sure if I will post it tonight. Hugs to all.

An Award

This fantastic award has been passed onto me by blogging buddy Shirley aka Nannie Flash and I am tremendously grateful that she thought of me. I think you all know by now how much I treasure these awards and it is a wonderful feeling when someone passes one onto you. I have to pass this onto five other bloggers so here we go.

Blue, Brown and Bling

Well my dear friends I think I will make this my last posting for today or you will get fed up with me lol (I hope not). My mum is being spoilt and has had a little companion for most of the day....yep you guessed it Polo has been cuddled up to her they make such a sweet couple lol. I think I have been stuck to this computer and my craft table for most of the day and I am beginning to tire and my eyes are not focusing at all well so it's a good excuse to make a nice cuppa and have a sit down before I try and get some shut eye. Anyway this card is my entry for two challenge the first being Mojo Monday and the second is Digital Tuesday the theme being to use Blue, Brown and Bling hence the title. I have used one of my favourite Digi Stamps the Daisy and coloured it with promarkers the backing papers are a mixture of Bearlymine and SU. The sentiment is from my stash that I found quite by accident and also the butterfly which I had forgotten I had and found them at the same time as the sentiment I also added some gems. Hope you like it and see you all tomorrow hugs to all.

Two In One

Hi all firstly my mum would like to say thank you for wishing her well and thinks how lovely you all are for caring and I second that.

This is my entry for two challenges the first is Friday Sketchers and the second is Stamp with Fun the theme being 'Dots'. I have used one of my new stamps from Charmed Delectable Stamps I fell in love with Annie as soon as I saw her I only have two but just ordered another one today. I have used some more SU paper from the good ol USofA and lovely ladies Stef and Nola, the blue paper is from Summer Driggs. I coloured Annie with promarkers and the centre oval is a nestie and has been put through my big shot using the swiss dots cuttlebug folder. I have also added a couple of flowers from Fred She Said but I coloured these with promarkers, you can buy coloured or non coloured ones so I got a set of each. To be truthful this was going to be for three challenges hence the colour scheme but when I looked at the challenge it was Digital Tuesday so I can't enter that one the theme is blue and brown ....drat...I will have to do another one for that but I don't mind cause I love this colour combo lol. Hugs to all.

Flowers at her Feet

Hi all this is my entry for this week's Cute Daisy May challenge the theme being 'Circles' I have used one of the new Cute Daisy May Fairy images and coloured her with promarkers I added some stickles to her wings her bodice and the frill on her tutu. I have used Bearlymine backing papers and punched two circles of glittered paper and added some flowers. I was trying to portray the theme that she has just performed the two glittered circle's are the spotlights and the flowers have been thrown onto the stage at her feet......good idea or not? Hugs to all

VC Challenge

Good morning to you all hope the weather is as nice where you are as it is here is sunny Gloucestershire. I made this card for the VC Challenge last night (early morning) and I am quietly pleased with the outcome. It is based on a sketch by VC and the image is a freebie which I just could not resist isn't she beautiful. I have coloured her with promarkers and added some stickles to her wings. The papers are Bearlymine and the flowers are from Fred She Said I have added a few gems as well. I did not want to over embellish because I think on this occasion the image is definitely centre attraction. Well I hope to be back later with some more postings and visits to your blogs. My mum is coming to stay with me for a few days because she passed out last Sunday while out for the day with my sister and I think it has shook her up. It has never happened to her before and she has lost a bit of her confidence so I know she will be happy staying indoors with Polo and me for company lol. Hugs to you all.

Last but not Least

Well this is my last posting for today I have managed to visit most of the blogs I follow and have had a really enjoyable time once again seeing the amazing work you all do. This is my entry for Sketch Saturday and Allsorts the theme being 'Triangles'. I have used a real mix of backing papers on this one which includes Bearlymine and some SU which was sent to me in a RAK and are rather nice. The image is 'Dasiy' from Funky Kits and I believe is actually in stock or at least it was a couple of days ago. Part of the sketch was to use corners which are triangles and I made them a little big bigger I hope you like this one hugs to all.

Chocolate Orange and Sketch

Hello all this is my third posting of the day and is a card for two challenges which are Card Patterns and DareU2Digi Stamp. Card Patterns is the sketch and DU2DS is a Brown and Orange theme. I have used a Cute Daisy May image on this one coloured with promarkers I have used a mixture of brown backing papers and card. Hope you like it hugs to all.

Stampin for the Weekend and Crafty Pad

Hi this is my second posting today and is my entry for this weeks Stampin for the Weekend 'Use a Digi Stamp' and Crafty Pad the theme being 'Congratulations' which is a great opening for my fab bit of news. I WON last weeks The Crafty Pad challenge.... hooray....how wonderful is that then. Ok the Digi Stamp is a new one from Cuddly Buddly the rest of the papers are from Bearlymine and added some embellishments. Two down two to go I will be back.....lol....Hugs

In the Summertime

Remember the song by Mungo Jerry 'In the Summertime' I loved it but very rarely hear it played these days. Well the theme at Scrappyfrogs Challenge this week is 'Summer Fun' and for this I have used a Dustin Pike image called Beach Bear which depicts the sort of fun everyone loves.....playing sandcastles. I have coloured the image with promarkers and framed it with a freebie download that I had yonks ago so can't remember the name. I also used a couple of flowers from Fred She Said and a computer generated sentiment. I hope you like it and I will be back later as I have three more cards to post. Hugs to all
