EXPLODING CHRISTMAS CRACKER

Hi all, I made this Christmas Cracker Exploding gift box recently after seeing Katherine demo it on Create and Craft I thought that I would have ago and here is my finished project.
For my base card I used a satin gold mirri card I punched the top with an EK Success border punch, for my layers on each of the sides I used some burgundy card stock topped with Bazzill Shimmer card stock that I embossed with my snowflake embossing folder, on two sides I added some Cosmic Shimmer Red Berry PVA glue for the pearls then added my die cut burgundy Poinsettia's, on the other two sides I used my beloved Tilda dressed as a Christmas Angel I stamped the image then coloured with copics and cut her out I added Pinflair Ice diamond to her wings, I made a tag with some of the left over embossed card and added a Tonic die cut sentiment I tied the tag with both twine and burgundy polka dot ribbon.
I took several photos so you could see the box from different angles.

I placed a votive candle on the inside as the gift, my mum loved it so much that she asked if she could have it to give to one of her church friends, of course I was more than happy that she thought it good enough to give to her special pal. I used Poinsettia paper for the inside.

RED AND WHITE CHRISTMAS

Hi all, I am still getting used to my computer and have already noticed that there have been so many changes I don't know whether it is because I now have Windows 8 or not.  I cannot print anything as I cannot find the original disc for my printer I know I have put it somewhere safe but I have had it for a few years so it could be anywhere.
I have managed to catch up with commenting and visiting most of my favourite blogs I have been so inspired by you all.
I have managed to complete a Christmas card using the colours red and white.  The main image is a stamp that I bought from Stamps By Chloe a little while ago, I have heat embossed it using WOW Gold Embossing powder also some of Debbie Moore's gold glitter, I then added some Red Pearl glue to the centre of the snowflakes and star-bursts.
The white card is Centura Pearl I used my 8x8 snowflake embossing folder the image shows up lovely in this picture.  I used my EK Success circle cutter for the central mount and Marianne dies for the Poinsettia and leaves, the sentiment is from the Tonic Christmas Cracker die it comes with 3 die cut sentiments this is one of them.

ALL CRAFTS CHALLENGE MIDWAY REMINDER

Hi all I was unable to submit a DT project for the beginning of this 2 month challenge but I think I have made up for it with this midway challenge reminder.
I have crocheted quite a few chunky Winter Warmer bobble hats I have several pictures to show with my lovely mum as model.
I have used different colours for each hat, in the first picture I also crocheted a matching cowl.
My mum has fallen in love with all of them as they are so lovely and warm so at least I know that she will be snugly when out in the cold spells as I have presented her with one or two other 'winter warmer sets'.  My mum will be celebrating her 94th birthday in a couple of weeks and I just have to make sure that she is comfortable.
This first colour is an Autumnal colour mix which looks really lovely and I would like to enter this one into the

The challenge is open until the end of November and is perfect for showing off all the fabulous projects that you may have already completed for Christmas so why not join us at
and be in with a chance of winning a prize.
If you would like to win one of my 'Winter White' hats then please let me know in any comment that you may leave me.
I will be catching up on commenting later today but I would like to thank each and everyone of you who have visited me and left me such wonderful comments I really do appreciate them.

DECK THE HALLS

Hi all, today I have a Christmas card that I made and would like to enter into a few challenges:
I am so way behind with Christmas creations that I am trying to make as many as I can but don't worry I will not be posting them, lol.
Instead of square I decided to make a DL shaped double gatefold card, the papers are Back to Basics, I have used silver mirri card for mounting the sentiment, papers and image as well as for the holly leaves and baubles.
The sentiment is a new stamp that I purchased from Stamping Up I used my EK Success circle cutter and distressed the edges with worn lipstick distress ink.  The edges of the gatefold have also been punched with a EK Success border punch.
On the inside of my double gatefold is an image that I got from Pink Gem Designs she is called Jodie with Baubles.  I have coloured her with Copics I then added glitter to all the little snowflakes then added glossy accents to the little baubles. I added Cosmic Shimmer PVA Red Berry glue for the berries of the holly and at the top of the image, I added a red bow punched baubles and snowflakes
This next picture shows the glitter and glossy accents a lot better.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
I would like to thank you all for visiting and for the wonderful comments that you leave, I hope you like my card and please come back soon.
